LeapFish.com and How the Beta Search Engine Works.

Posted by: LeapFish Media Team on: November 14, 2008

LeapFish is the first multi-dimensional search engine in the world. LeapFish empowers Internet users with a radically simple way of searching the breadth and variety of the growing web by finding, aggregating and rendering the most relevant search data from the Internet’s most desired portals in one search.

How LeapFish.com Works :

Similar to technologies found at major portals such as DogPile.com, LeapFish utilizes proprietary hyper-threading technology to communicate with all major online portals and their API’s simultaneously to deliver the various search results from across the web to users in a single search query. The engine’s relationships with Google, Yahoo, MSN and others all allow for the use and rapid scale of their public API’s for the creation of our new search portal.

In addition to working with major online destinations to retrieve and organize the breadth of the Internet, LeapFish features a refreshingly clean interface with search widgets that display up-to-the-minute news, images, videos and more on every search term. Click “see more” under a search widget and get a complete list of relevant results. Hover over a video and view it right on LeapFish. Hover over an image thumbnail and get the actual image right then.

LeapFish is developing over 200 strong relationships with leading online destinations in search, news, imagery, videos, real estate and more to defragment the accessibility of valuable information online.

The positive response has been tremendous! LeapFish is proud to be offering an engine that helps solve some of today’s growing search challenges.

Stay tuned for our engine’s official beta release next week. We’d love to continue receiving constructive feedback and suggestions from the public. Please tell us what you think!

I’ve used dogpile before and liked it. Playing around with Leapfish I think I’ll like it even more. How do you buy key words on it? Just curious.

You’ll be happy to know news of your search engine is moving fast. Our entire office knows about it and love it. The only suggestion I have is to give me options on which items to add/remove from my left bar. Thanks for making it :)

Suggestion – at the main leapfish.com page, have the 3 main toggles available to search from either from – Google, Yahoo and MSN.
